Two of those years were teaching barbering at O'Briens Aveda Institute. She was trained at O'Briens Technical Institute here in Vermont but honed her skill and knowledge with Vidal Sasoon in Chicago. Recently she spread her wings in Tennessee where she owned and operated her own Barber shop. However due to the love she has for her family, she and her husband have planted their roots in Hardwick.
